These terms apply to your use of wisdomwithincollection.com (the “website”), which is operated by Wisdom Within (“Wisdom Within”, “we”, “us”), and to any application you submit through it. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
About Wisdom Within
Wisdom Within curates small, invitation-only journeys for women in South Africa, Botswana and Rwanda. Places are offered by invitation, following an application.
Applications and invitations
- Submitting an application does not create a booking or guarantee you a place. Each application is reviewed individually, and we may decide not to offer a place.
- Please make sure the information in your application is accurate and about you.
- If you are invited, we will email you personal links to your destination and booking pages. These links are for you alone, so please do not share them. We may disable a link that has been shared or misused.
Journeys, dates and prices
- Journey descriptions, itineraries and retreat windows on the website describe the experience we are planning. Exact dates are confirmed with each lodge, and details may change until your reservation is confirmed.
- Photography and visuals are used to convey the spirit of each journey and may not show the exact suite, view or activity you will experience.
- Prices are shown in US dollars per guest. Your personal booking summary shows the suite, price and details that apply to your reservation.
Reservations and payment
- A reservation is made only when you accept the retreat agreement on your personal booking page and complete payment.
- The retreat agreement, also published as our Retreats Policy, sets out the specific terms of your journey, including payment, changes and cancellation. If anything in it differs from these terms, the retreat agreement applies to your reservation.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you pay, Stripe’s own terms also apply to the payment.
- You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visas you need, and for meeting the health and entry requirements of the countries you will visit. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation and medical cover, from the moment you reserve.
- Accommodation, flights, transfers and activities are provided by independent operators, whose own terms and conditions also apply to the services they provide.
Using the website
- Please use the website lawfully and only for its intended purpose. Do not submit false applications, try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, or interfere with how it works.
- We may update, suspend or withdraw the website, or any part of it, at any time.
Intellectual property
All text, photography, video, logos and design on the website belong to Wisdom Within or to those who have licensed them to us. You may view them for your own personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission.
Links to other websites
The website may link to, or load content from, other services, such as Stripe’s checkout page. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services.
Our responsibility
We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but its content is general information that may change, and we cannot guarantee that it will always be complete, error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss that arises from using the website or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the “last updated” date shown above.
